Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a critical link between our Business Development team, clients, and internal teams. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, crafting tailored proposals, negotiating costs, and driving successful client engagements.
#Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with the business development team to understand high-level client requirements.
- Conduct client meetings to gather, analyze, and document detailed functional and technical requirements.
- Proposal Development:
- Prepare comprehensive RFPs, RFIs, and technical proposals based on client requirements.
- Draft detailed scope of work (SOW) and project timelines in alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
- Client Engagement & Negotiation:
- Act as the primary contact for clients during the pre-sales phase to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Negotiate project costs, timelines, and deliverables with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Internal Coordination:
- Work with internal teams, including technical, finance, and operations, to ensure accurate costing and resource planning.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions for internal teams.
- Presentation & Support:
- Support the sales team with presentations, demos, and product demonstrations.
- Provide insights and suggestions for improving solutions based on market trends and client feedback.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for each client engagement, including meeting notes, requirements, and approved proposals.
- Report on pre-sales activities and outcomes to management regularly.
#Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar role in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, IT solutions, and business processes.
- Proficiency in creating detailed RFPs, RFIs, and proposals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office, project management software, and CRM platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
